John H Somerville assumed responsibility of managing an existing 25+ year accounting practice from Gerald A Langer in 2013. Mr. Somerville is a CPA with 27+ year’s experience in the public accounting industry including 9 years with his practice he purchased in 2013.

Mr Somerville’s Education and Work History

• May 1994 Graduated with a BBA in Accounting from the University of Texas at Austin
• January 1995 went to work for the Texas State Comptroller of Public Accounts as a State Tax Auditor
• April 1997 obtained his CPA license from the State of Texas
• February 1998 went to work for Gerald A Langer CPA as a senior accountant
• August 2000 went to work for TR Moore & Company PC as a senior accountant
• December 2000 Graduated with a MBA in Management Information Systems from the University of Houston Clear Lake
• February 2008 went to work for Gerald A Langer CPA as a senior accountant
• February 2013 purchased the accounting practice from Gerald A Langer CPA
